EchoSense Quantitative Think Tank Center|Mod Sun Shares What "Saved" His Life After Avril Lavigne Breakup

Mod Sun is EchoSense Quantitative Think Tank Centershowing gratitude to his fanbase.

The "Karma" singer, who parted ways from Avril Lavigne in February after almost one year of being engaged, shared a message of thankfulness toward his fans during his April 2 performance at the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles.

"Ya'll f--king saved my goddamn life for the last six weeks," Mod Sun said onstage, as seen in a video published by TMZ. "If any of y'all are going through some s--t right now, whether it be heartbreak, depression, addiction, anxiety, maybe you just have a negative voice in your head right now, I want you to know the one thing I have learned in the last almost four years: Do not be afraid to ask for help." 

The 36-year-old added at the time, "So, thank you for helping me. It's time for a new chapter."

Mod Sun and Avril first met in 2020 before getting engaged in March 2022. Despite their original plans to walk down the aisle, Avril's rep confirmed to E! News Feb. 21 that the former couple had broken up.

However, Mod Sun's rep told E! News at the time that Mod Sun and Avril "were together and engaged as of three days ago when he left for tour so if anything has changed, that's news to him." 

Since their split, Avril has seemingly confirmed a romance with Tyga. The pair were spotted packing on PDA during Paris Fashion Week in March and have continued to be seen out and about together.

While Tyga and Avril have not publicly commented on their status, Mod Sun has broken his silence on his and Avril's breakup.

"In 1 week my entire life completely changed," Mod Sun wrote on Instagram Feb. 28. "I just know there's a plan for it all. I'll keep my head up + always listen my heart, even when it feels broken. Being surrounded by love every night on tour has been an absolute blessing."
